I did read the Bible, which I think everyone should do. And I found Belloc, and de Maistre quite helpful in contextualising history and, Chesterton very helpful in understanding Christianity.
I've been meaning to read Lives of the Saints and such works but never got around to it. You should certainly read Augustine and some primer on Aquinas. Then recommend one to me, please.

Question for you. I also rediscovered Christianity relatively recently. You seem to have studied it. What sources were helpful in your rediscovery?
